The Launch Team isn’t just about helping an event happen; it’s about laying the spiritual, relational, and practical foundation of a new church in this city.

The Launch Team is a group of people committed to helping launch Semarang International Church and prepare it for its first public services.

This team will:

• Help shape the culture and values of the church
• Build community before weekly services begin
• Serve together to prepare for launch day
• Pray and believe for God to move powerfully in our city

Launch Team members are the first community of the church—the foundation on which everything else will be built.

WHY THE LAUNCH TEAM MATTERS?

Healthy churches don’t just appear—they are built by people who are willing to say yes early.

What we establish before launch day will shape who we become after launch day. A strong Launch Team helps create momentum, excellence, unity, and a welcoming environment for every person who walks through the doors for the first time.

By joining the Launch Team, you’re helping create a church that exists not just for itself, but for the city.

WHAT DOES THE LAUNCH TEAM DO?

Everyone on the Launch Team serves in a meaningful way.

Launch Team roles include:

• Prayer & Spiritual Foundation – covering the church, the city, and launch day in prayer
• Hospitality & Welcome – creating a warm, friendly first impression
• Kids & Next Gen – helping create a safe and engaging environment for children
• Worship & Production – music, sound, media, and tech
• Setup & Logistics – preparing and resetting the space each week
• Outreach & Invitation – helping others hear about the church and feel invited

No matter your background or experience, there is a place for you.

WHAT IS THE COMMITMENT?

The Launch Team is a seasonal commitment with a clear purpose.

• We will begin gathering as a Launch Team in the later part of 2026
• Launch Team members commit to attending gatherings and trainings
• Everyone serves on launch day and during the launch season
• Team members pray regularly and help invite others

This isn’t a lifelong commitment—but it is a meaningful one. Consistency matters, and we believe God does powerful things when people build together.

WHO IS THE LAUNCH TEAM FOR?

The Launch Team is for people who:

• Want to help build a church from the ground up
• Are willing to serve, not just attend
• Believe in what God wants to do in Semarang
• Want to grow in community and discipleship

You don’t have to have it all figured out. You don’t need to be a church expert. You just need to be willing, available, and open to growing.
